China has become direct investment country in the world third largest foreign as well as the maximum direct overseas investment country of developing country. Therefore, the study of China’s foreign direct investment has the strategic significance. Since the financial crisis, China’s foreign trade environment faced unprecedented severe and pressure of RMB appreciation firmer. Therefore, foreign direct investment is extremely important. The United States, as the leader of the global economy that suffered a setback in the financial crisis, but it is still the uncontested global economic supremacy in terms of industrial structure, the development of high-tech industry, the quantity and quality of multinational corporations and strong influence on the world. It undoubtedly appeals to China capital. Direct investment in the United States can learn the developed technology and enhance the level of China’s industrial structure. Based on this idea, the direct investment of Chinese to US has great significance.From the perspective of Chinese enterprises, the first problem is location choice of foreign direct investment. Location choice means the main investors looking for a specific geographical space to achieve their intended goals, which is constrained and influenced by a variety of factors. In the basis of location theory of direct investment and the development of Chinese foreign direct investment, the thesis adopts theoretical analysis, qualitative analysis combined with quantitative analysis and the chart analysis. In this paper studies current situation of location choice and factors of the direct investment of Chinese to US, and proposes strategies and recommendations for the problem of location choice of China direct investment in U.S. Through the study of this paper, we hope to provide important references for China direct investment to U.S.The research conclusions are as follows:First, china’s foreign direct investment position distribution presents the multiplex development trends by analyzing the course of development of China’s foreign direct investment from investment position. The local investment cost main centralized in Asian and Latin American region, and the investment growth rate is big in Oceania and Africa. Profession multi-dimensional, and gathering is high, mainly flows to the transportation industry, the financial industry and business service industry from subject of investment.Second, the investment cost local distribution is centralized in Chinese Enterprise direct investment toward the US; scale of investment in small and medium enterprises, the newly-built investment transaction quantity is big, but the investment amount is small, the company size is small, the profession uneven distribution, the position distribution is also non-uniform; The investment cost profession distribution is uneven by analyzing the development process and Chinese Enterprise of direct investment toward the US position characteristics..Third, the scale of China direct investment on the US continually will increase with market size expansion in different state US, increasing export from China to US, RMB appreciation with dollar, and the rise of US wage level.The research innovations are as follows:First, the innovation of selection content:in the past about the analysis of foreign direct investment position choice influencing factor, little considered that single country the issue of position choice, the content of this article emphatically research is this article place of the innovation;Second, the innovative of research methods:the investment position distribution map uses ARCGIS, but also using relative analysis investment position influencing factor in our country direct investment on the US position choice.
