A Research On Supplier Management System For Optical Communication J Company

J Company, as the subject of the thesis, has many problems in supplier management.Human resources in supplier management is not reasonable, the choice and the developingrules of suppliers are ambiguous, which lacks effective control and evaluation to suppliers.Therefore, these problems affect the performance of the supplier managementimprovement and the incoming quality in J Company, and also affect the efficiency ofachieving the company’s strategic target.In this study, the eight quality management principles, quality control theory, alongthe discovery, analysis, problem-solving ideas, to solve J supplier management system bycontinuous improvement principle, analyze the current situation to find the questions andthe resolve method. I establish the supplier management system, define the suppliermanagement functions, establish the operational supplier management processes, build thesupplier rating system. The study of the supplier management system from J Companyindicates, in order to control incoming material quality, first an enterprise should choosethe appropriate suppliers, next it should control the quality from suppliers well to makesure suppliers’ ability to supply goods continuously, and then it should enhance suppliers’continuous improving ability, as a result, it can help suppliers make a good PDCAcirculation. The suppliers can achieve their quality target, only when their managementsystem can be operated well. In this case, the goods service level for customers from thesupply chain enterprises can be greatly improved and the cost can be reduced. From theresults of system operation, the supplier management system play a very active role, has avery important practical significance, it also has certain function to construction work ofsuppliers management system among the same kind of enterprise.
