Transport infrastructure in rural areas is the important basic conditions that canincrease the development of the rural economy, adjust the agricultural restructure andincrease farmers’income. It is also an important part of rural public service facilities.Construction and improvement of rural transport infrastructure is the main content ofbuilding new socialist countryside, which can solve the three rural issues effectivelyand is the prerequisite and foundation for comprehensive well-off society. In recentyears, with the development of rural economy and support policies which has beenintroduced, China’s rural transport infrastructure has been rapid development butthere are still large gap in investment while comparing with China’s urban transportinfrastructure, which restricted the development rural economy、the improvement ofliving standards of farmers and hindered the process of urbanization. Therefore, researching the rural transport infrastructure investment status and exploring theconstruction of multi-channel input mechanism are the problems that we urgentlyneed to be resolved. In recent years, at the background of the development of Western, Southwestrural transport infrastructure achieves leapfrog development. Select the appropriateinvestment growth stabilization mechanism for southwest rural transportinfrastructure, on the one hand, it can improve investment dilemma of southwest ruraltransport infrastructure, shorten the development difference between urban and ruraland accelerate the construction of new socialist countryside; on the other hand, whichcan also accelerate economic development in the southwest region and promote theimplementation of the western development strategy. The research analysis theinvestment problems of rural transport infrastructure in southwest according to sortout the relevant literature and China’s rural transportation infrastructure status quo, then insert the survey data of southwest rural transport infrastructure into the incentive compatibility model, and then sort the incentives elements which haveeffect on rural transport infrastructure. With the help of the incentive theory, principal-agent theory, coordination theory and incentive theory, we attempt to build growthof investment incentives of rural transport infrastructure construction.
