Concerning steady running of domestic economy, the Chinese commercialbanking system reform is relatively backward, thus establishing modern commercial bankperformance management system has great significance and also a long way to go.In Baoding, Baoding Bank is the first local joint-stock city commercial bank, which is alsoa modern commercial bank of capital adequacy, asset quality, and management norms.However, Baoding Bank like many other commercial banks has many problems in performancemanagement at present, such as performance appraisal after the inspection; large gap betweenperformance evaluation and strategic targets; not having enough scientific and reasonableperformance index system; performance management system lacking implementation and so on.Therefore, how to develop a reasonable performance evaluation scheme and build an effectiveperformance appraisal system becomes a severe issue for managers.Basing on the analysis of present situation of performance management and the currentmanagement needs of Baoding Bank, this article utilizes the related theories of performancemanagement, designs strategy map by the use of the balanced scorecard for Baoding Bankand reconstructs performance management system of Baoding Bank. This paper is expectedto provide baoding Banks with a favorable management tools in the fierce and competitivefinancial market to win competitive advantages. |
