Development Of Tourism In Yunnan Ethnic Villages Self-organization Theory

Since the implementation of Reform and Opening up for three decades, China’stourism industry has been developing at an alarming rate. By virtue of the beautifulscenery and colorful ethnic customs, as well as the support from the WesternDevelopment Strategy and "Views on the Acceleration of the Development ofTourism Industry", Yunnan Province develops tourism vigorously, and tourism hasbecome a pillar industry in Yunnan Province. Since2011, the construction of200special villages has been implemented to build the brand of cultural tourism of ethnicminorities. Analysis for the tourism development in the villages of ethnic minorities inYunnan Province has been carried out in this paper on the premise of regarding therapid development of tourism in Yunnan Province and the recent study for thedevelopment of community-based tourism in China as the practical background andthe theoretical background respectively, combined with self-organization theory group,the system theory and other related theories. And villages within the terrace tourismzone at Honghe Yanyang Hani in Yunnan Province are taken as examples in thisanalysis to implement the qualitative and quantitative analysis for the exploration ofthe village evolution in the village tourism development, the dynamic mechanism ofthe tourism development as well as the development approach of tourism.Firstly, self-organization theory, dissipative structure theory should be applied toanalyze and explore the internal and external environmental conditions for theformation of village self-organization within the terrace tourism zone in YuanyangHani, the process, characteristics and problems of the village evolution. Thus, thebasic research work can be completed for the analysis for the model building anddynamic analysis in the next chapter.Secondly, the principle of collaborative dynamics should be applied to build thedynamic mechanism model of village tourism development. According to the modeland empirical research, the internal and external dynamic effect of the villageself-organization within the terrace tourism zone at Yuanyang Hani in the tourism development can be analyzed to figure out various slow variables that have played animportant role in tourism development. Typical villages within Hani terrace tourismzone should be analyzed in detail to explore different internal and external dynamiceffects for different villages.Thirdly, the tourism development mechanism of villages within Hani terracetourism zone and the self-organization theory should be combined to explore thedevelopment approach for the Yunnan minority villages to develop tourism indifferent stages and put forward corresponding measures for the existing problems inthe development.
