Thirty years has passed ever since the implementation of reform andopening up policy, China s private-owned enterprises have also started fromscratch, accompanied by the increasing expansion of enterprise scales. Manyprivate-owned enterprises have been the champions of the industry both athome and abroad. Private-owned enterprises are not only advanced indevelopment but also grow very fast. They have been gradually become thebackbone of China s national economic growth and the important part ofSocialist market economy.Meanwhile, it is seen that private-owned enterprises have to a certainextent been restrained and limited in terms of performing socialresponsibilities in the process of social and economic development, forexample, the business concept of harming others to benefit oneself,profit-orientation, a lack of integrity and an ambiguous awareness of“Enterprise Citizenship” and so on. All these limits and restraints can beattributed to the historical backgrounds of private-owned enterprises or theentrepreneurs themselves. All these impose the restraints on the harmoniousand sustainable development of Private-owned enterprises. With the proposalof the concept of constructing a harmonious society and China has put it intopractice. The society and people have increasingly higher expectations and requirements on private-owned enterprises to perform their socialresponsibilities. In addition to developing their own business, as theimportant part of China s socialist market economy, private-ownedenterprises should play a active role in performing social responsibilities.With the development of economic globalization, the market competitionsbecome much fiercer. In order to entertain a sustainable growth in marketcompetition, private-owned enterprises ought to perform well in socialresponsibilities so that improve their core competitiveness.Hence, this thesis adopts such methodologies as literature research,system research and questionnaire research, and starts with a detailedexplanation of the connotations and effects of social responsibilities. TakingChint Group, the champion enterprise and the typical representative ofprivate-owned enterprises in ‘Wenzhou development Model’for an in-depthanalysis. It carries out a primary study of existing problems and currentsituations of Chint Group s performing social responsibilities. Based on this,the conclusion is drawn, this is the concrete thinking and direction ofenterprise social responsibilities for Chint Group.The first chapter is an introductory part, which analyzes chiefly thebackground and significance of selecting this topic, main researchmethodologies are put forward, which lay an solid foundation for thefollowing researches.The second chapter is the connotations and effects of enterprise socialresponsibilities, which introduces in details the development history andsources of enterprise social responsibilities and analyzes views of differentscholars in great details. Based on this, this thesis supports the view of theso-called definition of enterprise social responsibilities; this chapter also carries out a in-depth research on the realistic significance of the criteria ofenterprise social responsibility, the basic principles and benefit relatedness ofenterprise social responsibilities.The third chapter gives an key introduction of the basic conditions ofChint Group, including the establishment and development of Chint, mainbusiness, enterprise management (organization structure, personnel structureand corporate culture, etc.). Therefore, this offers a forcible support for thefollowing researches on the current situation of Chint s enterprise socialresponsibilities.The fourth chapter is the current situation of Chint s enterprise socialresponsibility building, which primarily states Chint s concrete performancesin enterprise social responsibilities, and proposes problems existing in socialresponsibilities based on the previous discussion.The Fifth Chapter starts from two aspects, the basic thinking mode andbuilding strategy for analyzing the countermeasures on Chint s socialresponsibility, which conducts researches on four basic questions,concluding that the concrete thinking mode and countermeasures of Chint senterprise social responsibility building.
