The Comparative Study On Promoting Chinese Western Economic Growth For Listed Companies From The View Of Gross Output

The study is about the relationship of the West listed companies and macroeconomicfrom the perspective of total output. Starting from calculating contribution of listedcompanies to the total output, we try to base on a unified concept of the output andcalculate the listed companies output ratio and pull speed when studing western listedcompanies and macroeconomic.Regional comparative study results show that the scale and the pulling speed of thewestern region listed companies boosting the regional economy are relatively small comparedto the other main functional areas; The short-term effect of policies by the year of the launchof the western development policy is more obvious;The gap of the listed companies outputratio beteen the western,central, and northeast apparently narrowed; the pull effect of thelisted companies to regional economic growth in western provinces is obvious and improvethe output ratio in the provinces;pulling effect of the listed companies in the westernprovinces enter the stage of rapid pull in2005;the volatility of the pulling speed showednegative correlation between the provinces total output scale and the output ratio.The industry comparative study show that the competitive industries in the westernregion are metal and nonmetal manufacturing, food and beverage industry from1999to2011;The food and beverage industry has long maintained a dominant industries in the westernregion compared to other regions.Although the metal and nonmetal manufacturing industryhad the largest ratio in the western region,they don’t have the advantage compared to otherregions. The advantage industries of listed companies in the western area changed obviouslyin different time periods.The number and distribution of provinces of advantage industries inthe listed companies in the western area increased obviously,2005-2011compared with1999-2004. The pulling effet of these advantage industries are obvious for the westernprovinces.The differences of the listed companies’ industry distribution in the western regionwas relatively large. There were the most in Shichuan provinces and the least in Qinghai andTibet.During1999-2011, the food and beverage industry have been advantage in Guizhou,Sichuan and Xinjiang, main provinces of the metal and nonmetal manufacturing advantage inthe six provinces of Gansu, Guangxi, Inner Mongolia, Ningxia, Xinjiang, Yunnan andChongqing.
