Research On The Relation Between Current National Rural Social Security And Harmonious Society Construction

"Constructing a socialist harmonious society"was proposed in the CCP FourthSession of the Sixteenth Plenum. Accounting for the majority of the population offarmers and rural harmony is important for the constructing of a harmonioussociety.Developing the National Rural Security System is actually one of themeanings of Harmonious Society Constructing.Because guarding the people’s basicrequirements should be the lowest requirement and conditions to the HarmoniousSociety Construction.Harmonious Society should be a society including the farmerswho engaged the majority of the population.Using rural social security system to guarantee the rural residents basiclivelihood of the people, safeguard social fairness and justice, and to share the fruitsof development is becoming an important goal and necessary means to promote theconstructing of a harmonious society with sustainable development.Social security in rural areas should not be overlooked in functioning inconstructing a harmonious society. This article aimed at deepening the protectingfeatures of rural social security to the constructing of a harmonious society.
