The Establishment Of Railway Cold Chain Logistics Alliance And Its Game Theory Analysis

With China’s economy has entered a period of rapid development in the first ten years ofthe21st century, the material needs of people greatly enriched, especially for the cold freshfood, such as: vegetables, fruits and so on. As railway enterprises’ market shares in cold chainlogistics has decreased year by year, we had to face the weaknesses and defects of railwayenterprises in cold chain logistics, and expand its own influence in the industry by integratingtheir own and external logistics resources. Then, we will build a new form of cold chainlogistics services organization, the cold chain logistics alliance.The cold chain logistics alliance is a special and professional logistics alliance. As a newform of enterprises organization, the logistics alliance is based on different kinds of logisticsresources of all the alliance members. In order to make the response to the market opportunitiesmore rapidly, the enterprises organize the alliance by some agreements. There are a lot ofstudies of logistics alliance from different perspectives. The main research direction of thearticle is the establishing process of the alliance. It mainly involved member selection, trustbuilding, profit allocation.The article introduced the status quo of the railway cold chain and the related studies ofthis field. We analyzed the extant defects and problems of the railway cold chain services in ourcountry, and then put forward a cold chain logistics alliance which put the railway as the core ofthe alliance. The article mainly involved three parts:Firstly, we introduced the evaluation and selection of cold chain logistics partner. Themajor component of this part is the construction of a preliminary evaluation index system andselection of the union member by using the method of Grey Correlation Analysis.Secondly, the paper discussed the construction of the trust among union members. Tobuild and maintain the trust in the alliance, we need a mechanism to ensure it. The paperanalyzed the internal and external elements which affect the construction process of the trustmechanism. We construct a trust model with the method of Game Theory which considered theeffect of law, fame and emotion on the trust among union members. These considerations madethe model more practical.Finally, a profit allocation model was put forward. As the original motivation and theultimate pursuit of the union’s construction, the benefit is not only refers to the economicprofits. It also includes the increase of social reputation, influence in the industry andsomething else. The paper used Nash Bargaining Model and Sharpley Value Theory to discuss the profit allocation model. We also considered the influence of the asymmetry among differentunion members and risk factors to make the theory more realistic.
