Revenue management is the application of a certain method, and the strategy thatallows companies to achieve a win-win situation for the enterprise as well as marketsupply capacity, a balanced approach, in order to achieve the maximization of corporateprofits, and its focus on microscopic projections passengers the demand by optimizingtheir own products and services to meet the demand of the passengers ultimately allowsbusinesses to maximize revenue.Revenue management as a marketing strategy is the first application of the field ofcivil aviation in the United States, its origins in the late twentieth century. After a nearly40-year history of its development, in many industries, it has been widely used in thefield of civil aviation has achieved large success. In the rec ent years, with the continuousdevelopment of the railway passenger services, the formation of such a passengeraviation, railway passenger transport, road passenger transport iron triangle, its threeincreasingly competitive, especially in the railway sector is still in the early stages ofdevelopment, such as the ability to take advantage of good revenue management theorycan not only improve their competitiveness in the market and has a very importantsignificance for railway passenger revenue, the railway passenger transport sector mustseize this opportunity to fight back aviation shortcut road lost market convenience, therailway passenger transport sector in order to occupy the passenger transport marketplace as well as the railway passenger revenue, it is necessary to reform the existingmanagement concepts and marketing strategies.The focus of this paper is to control the distribution of seats in the revenuemanagement practice in the the railway passenger pale, Mong two quarters applications,combined with the status quo of railway passenger transport sector passenger transport,respectively, from the distribution of seats in the control and multi-level fares to discussChina’s railway passenger transport sector there may hinder the practice of revenuemanagement theory and analyze its applicability, create multisession the distribution ofseats in a single operating segment control algorithm.
