Along with the conduction of the elevent five-year plan of the government of China, the goldenage of the automobile industry’s development is coming. For example, according to the data of China’sauto industry association, there are more than18million cars have been manufactured and saled in2011.Compared with the0.8%year-on-year growth of its production capacity, the industry has achieved a muchhigher growth rate of2.5%on its sales. Moreover, the sales volume of auto sales during the first fourmonths in China2012has reached6.41million compared with6.43million that of auto production. Autoparts industry is playing an important role in the development of auto industry. As China has surged pastthe United States to become the world’s largest automobile market, almost all of the foreign auto partsgiants have invested in China to secure China market. In the other word, China’s automobile parts industrywill experence increasingly fierce business competition. Therefore, detailed market researchs become veryimportant for China’s auto part manufacturers to establish better development plan to acquire competitiveadvantages.This dissertation can be divided into seven parts. The first section concerns with this dissertation’sresearch background, research methods and contents, the relevant research in domestic and oversea, and theinnovative points of this paper. The theoretical basis of China’s automotive suppliers’ internationalcompetitiveness will be introduced in the second part. The third section gives more attention to currentsituation of the industry’s production, sales and export. To better the measurement and assessment of theindustry’s international export competitiveness, trade competition index, international market share, andrevealed comparative advantage index are introduced to make a comparison. On the basis of perspective of“diamond system of international competitiveness, the part five is designed to conduct a detailed analysis toinfluential factors of the industry’s international competitiveness. The final part will provide somesuggestions for China’s auto part manufacturers to improve their international export competitiveness.
