Supply chain management (SCM) plays a critical role in improving working efficiency and decreasing the cost related to procurement management, and therefore guarantees core competitiveness of enterprises. Furthermore, business integration of manufacturer and supplier depends upon supply chain optimization, which alternatively ensures the quantity and quality of products as well as ideal marketing management. Hongyunhonghe Group has been the most large-scale collectivization enterprise in tobacco industry that attaches great importance to SCM and modern management of tobacco processing. Informationization development is the main point associated with promoting efficiency of management. Several informationization platforms have been well established including procurement system (New Century, NC), manufacturing execution system (MES), office automation (OA), and financial management system. However, more effort is needed to make regulated procurement of tobacco machinery components, supply channel, quality monitoring system for manufacturers, and well functional supply chain. This paper introduce several ways to optimize procurement management based on status analysis of Hongyunhonghe Group which aims at improving efficiency of supply chain, building direct connection between manufacturer and supplier, and then providing solutions to any problems may encountered in this project. |
