The Research On The Relationship Between The Insurance Funds For The Aged In The New Rural China And Consumption

First, this thesis introduces relationship between the consumption and the insurance funds forthe aged, analyzes the Chinese old-age insurance system and distributional effect, and alsodiscusses the relationship between the Chinese old-age insurance system and the economic growth,which lays a foundation for the further research.Second, the author analyzes the implementation of the insurance funds for the aged in therural system in China, the author also explain the changes between the income and outgoings andthe consumption structure. Third, the thesis uses qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis,firstly analyzed the differences between the peasant consumer and the insurance funds for the agedin the new rural China. The author believe that the insurance funds for the aged promote thepeasant consumption through the impact on the redistributing income of the peasants. The authoruses the research data of Quanzhou from2008-2012, analyzes the general impact of the insurancefunds for the aged in the new rural China. The results proves that the successful development havea profound and positive improvement, will have a profound and positive impact on the continuedprosperity and stability here in China.Lastly, based on the research achievements, the author insist that the Social security coverageshould be expanded by upgrading basic old-age pensions and medical insurance for workers ofenterprises in urban areas. This article tries to approach to the effective ways to maintain andincrease the value of endowment insurance funds: invest in different ways, optimize theinvestment combination and improve the operative efficiency.
