Since reform and opening up, the national importance of the private economy hasreached unprecedented levels, development of private economy is at a high speed phase,but a lot of people concern if the development of private enterprises can come a longway.High turnover rate of of private enterprises, employees generally lower the level oforganizational commitment is an indisputable fact.The study reviews the related theories of servant leadership, Leader-memberexchange and organizational commitment, outlines the scholars at home and abroad forservant leadership, Leader-member exchange and the meaning of organizationalcommitment, structure, survey and study on basic theory of factors affecting results,provides a theoretical basis for the construction of the model.This research analyses the characteristics of the private enterprises management inbrief, and submittes the research assumptions in accordance with its own characteristicsand basic theory. Servant leadership is as the independent variable while OrganizationalCommitment is taken as dependent variable. The Leader-member exchange is regardedas mediator between Servant leadership and Organizational Commitment.This study combines the research purpose with domestic and foreign scholars designand development of mature scale and designs three scales. By sample survey, selectednine private enterprises, these enterprises are located in six cities of Shenyang, Dalian,Beijing, Shanghai, Nanjing.To test the reliability and validity of the scale to determine the reliability of thedesign of the scale, to verify the hypothesis by correlation and regression analysis. Theresults show that service-leadership has a significant impact on the leader-memberexchange and organizational commitment.Leader-member exchange relationships have asignificant positive impact on organizational commitment, and Leader-member exchangerelationship in a mediating role between Servant Leadership and commitment, but for thecontinued commitment to organizations committedof dimension have not any significantpositive impact. This paper argues that the servant awareness of the leader, LMX quality will alsoincrease, as the level of these two variables raising organizational commitment willimprove, and then the paper puts forward some related measures.
