However,studying abroad needs a lot of expenditure, which will be a difficult problem for thosefamilies who are suffering financial difficulties or lack of circulating funds. Many banksoffer a kind of effective loan to help those students to go abroad for a good study. Withthe rapid expansion of the number of students who are going to study abroad, banks canget income from their loan for studying aboard, which becomes an important source oftheir profits. Loan for studying abroad can also improve the quality of bank assets andliabilities, and increase the profitability of bank.China Everbright Bank is facing the opportunity to speed up the development ofloan which is brought by changes in the business environment of China’s financialmarket and international prosperity of loan for studying abroad. Meanwhile, they alsobring new risks and challenges. Therefore it causes a serious study and exploration ofgood method, which can help CEB to seize the opportunity and to foster strengths andcircumvent weaknesses. Thus CEB can adapt market changes and speed up thedevelopment.Firstly, this article is based on the introduction of loan for studying abroad in CEB,including current situation and significance. Secondly, SWOT analysis is made full useof to summarize the factors which affect development of CEB’s student loan. Thoseinclude strength, weakness, opportunities and threats. And finally this article providesCEB six suggestions for improving the development of loans for studying abroad inCEB.
