The traditional way of the Inventory Management, which have been used by most of themedium or small size enterprises in China, is considered to be the low level managementsince there are no planning, no balancing strategy but only the storing and quantity checking.It results both a big amount of the Cash occupancy and low efficiency of the Supply ChainManagement.So the Lean Logistic, of which the basic idea is to reduce any possible waste in allaspects, has been well believed to be the advanced way during the whole Supply ChainManagement. When goes to the Raw Materials Inventory Control, it emphasizes to sort andclassify the materials. And base on the result and feature of each part, design the inventorystructure and quantity to find the balance between the demand fulfilling and the inventoryreduction.Via this article, there will be the overall study of the data and process of the RawMaterials Inventory Control of the T company. And we will discover the main problems fromthese process and bring in the solution, evaluate the implement effect.To study the problem of the Raw Materials Inventory Control of T company, we willproceed from both the qualitative analysis and the quantitative analysis. In the qualitativeanalysis, we will study the demand source, process of Planning and Purchasing, IOSinventory settlement; and in the quantitative analysis, we will study the historic data andusing the ABC classification and CoV. Analysis to regroup the materials, select the properPull or Push method to manage the inventory, like ROP, Min.&Max., MRP. And further more,we will discuss the possibility and set the Kanban and VMI plan to further improve thematerials inventory control process for T company.
