In early of1990’s, Michael Hammer and James Champy, American famous scholars, first introduced the theory of business process reengineering. This idea broke or improved the traditional enterprise management rules of labor division and hierarchy organization running over100years. Meanwhile, the rapid and world wide application of informatization, is promoting the deployment of BPR. The great combination of business process reengineering and enterprises informatization leads to many new ideas in modern enterprise management. This theory is very important and hot topics all around the world nowadays.After the reform and opening-up policy kicked off, especially since1990’s, China economy grew up at an unbelievable speed. Chinese medium-sized and small enterprises made their contribution to the country development and played a very important role in national economy. Those enterprises have their own characters like less investment, return in short time, flexibility and adaptability to change and etc. to make them advance than others. However, they still have lot of disadvantages to block their development or even survival, e.g. low efficiency, high cost, out-date technology, poor capital flow. In short, medium-sized and small enterprises need improve the management concept, human resource, performance evaluation, quality control, enterprise vision and so on, to solve their owner problems.Facing all kinds of difficulties, medium-sized and small enterprises should take the opportunities and rise to the challenges with their own advantages. They need continuously develop and improve operation so that they can always success in such strong competition environment. That requests the entrepreneurs should have creative thinking about enterprise management, learn and practice advanced management ideas and method. BPR can keep the current business stable and improve the operation efficiency by informationizing and optimizing the process. It also can resolve the internal problems, and it will improve the enterprise’s KPI as well. BPR is an important idea and method to make enterprise change or transform.This paper discusses about BRP, enterprises informatization and performance management by analyzing a real and detail case. There are three sections of this paper. First section, Chapter Ⅰ and Ⅱ elaborates the background of this topic, the necessity and importance of this study, and the related research status. Second section is the main one of this paper, from Chapter Ⅲ to Ⅴ. The author takes GX corporate as one example, to demonstrate how it plans, designs and deploys the BPR, information system and performance evaluation tool altogether. The KPI and competency of GX corporate improved a lot after implementing the comprehensive management. Chapter Ⅵ and Ⅶ as last section summarizes the key points of the GX case, and tries to come up with the general operation methods and critical elements when implementing BPR, enterprises informatization and performance management in medium-sized and small enterprises. It also try to disclose the relationship among these three key activities. Wish other companies can take the experiences or lessons from this paper for a better future in coming changes.The research indicates that advanced thinking is baseline, BPR is a method or way to make medium-sized and small enterprises transform successfully. The most important is to develop and setup personalized process and information system should be based on the enterprise’s own situation and environment. Only by doing this, can the enterprise improve its performance and develop itself continuously in such strong competition environment.
