Research On Evaluation Index System Of Informatization Of Small And Medium - Sized Enterprises

Against the background of the rapid development of information technology and knowledge economy, as the most dynamic cells in national economy, Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises(SMEs) should go with the tide and proceed with informatization construction. A scientific and reasonable informatization evaluation system with a set of indicators is of great significance, since it can help SMEs recognize the status quo and identify existing problems of their informatization construction.Based on literature review, combined with previous studies, an informatization evaluation indicator system for SMEs is designed. This system consists of 2 first class indicators, 9 second class indicators and 28 third class indicators, and the weights of indicators at all levels are determined through Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP). The evaluation indicator system is applied to company A to conduct a case study. Based on data collected via field survey, the informatization of company A is evaluated with Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation(FCE). It is concluded that the comprehensive evaluation result of company A’s informatization is level B; the evaluation results of company A’s informatization degree and informatization benefit are also level B. Evaluation results of all the second class indicators are analyzed further. At last, several countermeasures and suggestions are proposed for SMEs’ informatization construction.
