Industries To Relocate In Nanchang Economic Growth Effects And To Undertake Model

Industrial transfer is the process of industrial capital moving from one place to another, guiding optimal allocation of technology, management, labor and other factors of production. It is a good chance for both places transferred out and into to upgrade its industrial structure. Especially for the backward areas, it can accelerate the process of industrialization, and narrowing the gap between the advanced regions by undertaking industrial transfer. In China, the eastern coast areas have pressure for upgrading industrial after fast development during thirty years, and some labor intensive industries must move out from eastern areas. While the middle and western regions develop slowly and are rich in natural resources and human resource, so they are able to absorb these industries which developed difficult in east. Accelerating the development in middle and western regions is one of the important goals on the schedule of government. Therefore, it is important for Chinese economy.Nanchang is one of six provincial capitals in Middle regions and has advantages in undertaking industry transfer, and also is the important base. The paper studies Nanchang’s situation from1988to2011about undertaking industry transfer abroad and home from macroscopic. The paper study forty-four enterprises selected one hundred and nine key ones in Nanchang, and analysis their scales, involved industry, origin and causes about transfer. The article uses co-integration regression, error correction model to analyze the role played by industrial transfer in economic development and the regression result shows that industrial transfer has positive influence on Nanchang’s economy. The method of path analysis is also used to study the specific impact of the industrial transfer effect on economic growth in Nanchang, and result shows that industrial structure effect and employment effect and capital accumulation effect have positive influence on Nanchang’s economy, while the technology diffusion effect is not passed.The article summarizes the model of undertaking industrial transfer in Nanchang, guided by the industrial developing plan, managed and coordinated by government and allocated at industrial zone. The article tries to get enlightenment by research the successful examples of undertaking industrial transfer about Japan, Hong Kong and Taiwan. At last, the article shows Nanchang’s problem about undertaking industrial transfer, such as lack of innovation, key industries’slow development, not fully utilized to human resource and so on. The paper advertises that Nanchang should free mind further, offer better service to business, protect environment, make reasonable developing plan, introduce talent and encourage enterprises to innovate and so on, and hope Nanchang achieve better result in undertaking industrial transfer.
