Research On Optimized Layout Of Rural Residential Land Of Liaoyuan City

Rural residential area has been the synonym of extensive utilization of land. Under this background, the optimized layout of the rural residential area has become the approach to reserve the minimum arable land. However, in practice, the thinking has resulted in severe social problems, making the rapid vanish of medium which maintains the rural landscape and culture. Therefore, it is of great scientific and pragmatic significance to research on the layout mode of rural residential area. The thesis is developed under the guidance of this thinking, with Liaoyuan City Jilin Province where the rural residential area has small scale with relatively high density as the empirical study. Under the background of socialist new countryside construction, the pattern, structure and function of the rural residential area is interpreted with human geography, ecology, regional economics and sociology as reference, by application of spatial analysis of ARCGIS; and the current spatial analysis and evolution trend of the rural residential area of Liaoyuan City Jilin Province is studied from the perspective of overall urban-rural development. The comprehensive potential evaluation for rural residential area of Liaoyuan City is classified into four levels:high development potential area, medium development potential area, low development potential area and inappropriate development potential area, by selecting eight evolution indicators, such as physical condition and location factor, determining weight of indicators by means of AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) and applying the geographical spatial analysis of GIS. Based on the four levels, five methods including demolishing countryside and reconstructing residence, connecting and aggregating residences, encouraging development, renovating the former residences and overall reallocation are adopted, with the combination of comprehensive development potential achievements, administration, spatial planning and fund, so as to optimize the rural residential area and realize harmonious living.There are five chapters in this thesis. The first chapter is introduction, which makes analysis of research background, the research progress home and abroad, the research subject and methods; the second chapter gives a statement of historical development and motive mechanism; the third chapter makes an evaluation of comprehensive development potential of rural residential area of Liaoyuan City. Based on four levels, five methods including demolishing countryside and reconstructing residence, connecting and aggregating residences, encouraging development, renovating the former residences and overall reallocation are raised; the fourth chapter puts forward the optimized layout strategy for rural residential area of Liaoyuan City. The fifth chapter is conclusion and further discussion.
