Study Of The Development Of Grain Credit In Nf Bank In G Provinces Branch

Grain problem which related to maintain prolonged stability of the country is the basis of the area to promote the economic and social development. G province was lag behind in grain industry development. In processing the "Twelfth Five Year Plan", the province which aim at$50billion grain industry by2015is press for increase the input in agricultural policy credit funds. The agricultural development bank of China (ADBC) is the only agricultural policy bank in China. A basic function of ADBC is to support the development of grain industry to ensure that the grain security and market supply of the regional. NF bank in G provinces branch is the branch of ADBC.Since it was established in1996, always insists to support agriculture. It performed the duty of a good and strong support G province grain industry development carefully and have made great achievements. Grain credit became the bank’s major business. However,from the development in grain credit of the bank in recent years,its credit growth rate was far lower than the overall level and grain loans in the proportion of total loans declined every year, which was out of keeping with the strong financial requirement.The study was carried out by summarize the experience in grain credit development of NF bank in G provinces branch in recent17years to analyze the problem in supporting grain loans. The results found that problems existed in the single credit, slow growth,high barriers to entry, complex credit process and laggard risk management approach. On the basis of the analysis,combined with the current G province social background and associated with requirement and function of policy bank, suggestions were put forward to solve the problem after further scientific research the methods in development of grain credit of the NF bank in G provinces branch business. Opinions and the suggestions were provided to external supporting measures to find a feasible solution for the development of grain credit business of NF bank in G provinces branch.
