In recent years, along withsocial progress and the development of science and technology so that people have abetter understanding of food safety,also because of the international and domesticfood security frequent incidents, people pay more attention to food quality and safety.And the quality and safety of aquatic products also attracted the attention of theinternational and domestic.Being susceptible to contaminated themselves also thegrowth environment, aquatic products have higher risk with safty than the generalfood; production dispersed presented in China’s aquatic products industry, the lack ofstandardization and standardized production of the status quo under the supervision ofaquatic significantly more difficult.There are serval problems in our aquatic products regulatory system.Forexample,the legal system is not perfect, the standard system is not perfect andunreasonable,the regulatory chain is not comprehensive, the regulatory administrativeorganizations are inefficient,and the origin comes frome the overlapping functions andtoo much management departments in charge, etc. China’s aquatic products qualitysafety supervision system is to protect the safety of the aquatic. objectively, China’sreform of the system of government, to rationalize the regulatory regime will be along process, so we can change in thinking through a multi-The main multi-angle toprotect the quality and safety of aquatic products. By addressing the marketinformation asymmetry, we can promote the improvement of traceability system foraquatic products safety via the mechanisms of the behavior of the market players tothe quality of aquatic products, to increase the safety and reliability of aquaticproducts.In this paper, a summary of China’s practing in aquatic products traceabilitysystem has been made,to analyzing the existing problems and makingrecommendations that adapt to China’s specific national conditions,learning thesuccessful experience of developed international at the same time.This paper consists of four parts:The first part introducts some scientific definition.Since this is more emphasis onaquatic as the quality and safety of food or food sources of raw materials, we selectthe definition of aquatic products as food attributes defined more one-sided.
