The Impact Of Openness Of The Software Enterprises In Nanjing On Innovation Performance

As a new economic growth point of the21st century, software industries have manyadvantages. It will become an important part of the national scientific and technologicalinnovation system, plays an increasingly important role in the socio-economic development.whilein China，Software enterprises started late, the capability of independent innovation is weak,most rely on the introduction of technology, therefore, enterprise must be active cooperate withinnovation source. Open innovation theory encourage enterprises expand openness to attract moreexternal innovation knowledge and technical resources. When cooperation with others, protect thecore knowledge also should pay attention to. The software business is one of the typical high-techindustry. The knowledge activities in the innovation process must be attended, perfect knowledgegovernance mechanisms are more prominent role in software companies and other high-techindustry. Therefore， in the condition of open innovation, a good knowledge governancemechanisms for the promotion of software enterprises to smoothly carry out innovative work isimperative.This article is based on the theory of open innovation, knowledge governance, introduced theknowledge of governance to research software enterprise openness of the impact on innovationperformance. Using the results of previous studies to define the openness of this article, thedivision dimension of knowledge governance mechanisms, and then on the basis of a review ofrelevant literature, through theoretical analysis to build a knowledge governance in the degree ofopenness of the concept model to the innovation performance，then proposed eleven underlyingassumptions. Selecting the software enterprises in Nanjing as a sample of the survey, to do a statistical analysis of69valid questionnaires were recovered, and to ensure the collection of datareliability and validity appropriate circumstances, the use of correlation and regression analysisvalidation the proposed model and research assumptions. The empirical results show thatopenness is positively correlated with innovation performance; knowledge governancemechanisms more perfect, enterprise innovation performance higher; knowledge governancemechanisms play an important role in the regulation of openness on innovation performance. Themore perfect knowledge sharing mechanisms, the greater the impact of openness on innovationperformance, knowledge possession mechanism only play a regulatory role in the open the breadthof the impact on innovation performance, the regulation is not obvious in the open depth theimpact on innovation performance.Finally, according to the main conclusions of this paper, arising the suggestions andcountermeasures to enhance the development of the innovation performance of the softwareenterprises in Nanjing, also give the reference for other parts of the software companies whichcarried out innovation in China.
