China has a large population and thus the base and the speed of itsaging population are above the average world level. Therefore, aging population has left China withthe important task to solve the problem of social security for senior citizens. China should focus onthe social issue of how to maintain the medical care rights of senior citizens and perfect its medicalservice, especially under the circumstance where senior citizens suffer from diseases, mainlychronic and serious diseases, due to weakness and decreased immunity. In the trend of aging population, this thesis studied and referred to the medical insurancesystem of developed countries.
