Study On Pension Security System Under The Background Of Population Aging

With the rapid development of our economy, the science and the technology level is also inconstant innovation. As productivity is rising, our living environment and the quality of life has beengreatly improved. People can live a well-off life. This greatly improve the health of the citizens, makespeople’s life has been extended. With the falling fertility rate, the elderly population has a rising proportionin total population. Population aging has become a significant problem which affecting the development ofhuman society. As emergence of the phenomenon of aging population, pension problems faced with severechallenge. The pension system is the "stabilizer" which can reduce the social unrest. We should establish anold-age security system which covering both urban and rural residents. It’s an urgent need for safeguardingsocial fairness and justice, meeting the basic needs of urban and rural residents, and reducing the survivalrisk of urban and rural residents. This old-age security system can ensure the production of the labor forceand promote social development boosters.After analyzing the current situation of our aging population, we can find that current situation ofChina’s population aging is very serious. The population aging phenomenon has five characteristics:①Alarge population base, a large scale of the aging population;②Population aging has a fast growingspeed;③Elderly dependency ratio increasing;④Significant regional differences;⑤Old before getting rich.The aging of the population has brought many problems to the development of social, including risingelderly dependency ratio, increasing the burden on the working population, resulting in a shortage of laborresources, leading to a fiscal expenditure on pension, weaken the family pension function and so on.China is a country with a large population and a large elderly population. The imperfect old-age security system is very sensitive to the impact of the aging population. Therefore, improve our old-agesecurity system not only affect our own development and stability, but also has a major impact on thedevelopment and stability of the world. The author read a lot of literatures. On the basis of the previousscholars’ study, the author conducts a further exploration on the innovation of old-age security system. Atthe same time, author gets inspired from some typical old-age security system from foreign countries.
