Research Of Commercial Bank Financial Management System Based On The Value Chain Theory

Commercial Bank is the core component of modern economic, and its efficient operation will provide financial support to the development of social development. As the core of modern enterprise management, Financial management plays an important role in the operations of commercial banks. Recalling the development of China’s commercial banks, we can find that with the rapid economic growth opportunities they successfully complete the joint-stock reform and landed the capital market. But in the context of a series of challenges of China’s economic growth, commercial banks need to change the management philosophy as soon as possible.Based on the theory of value chain, this paper try to study the functions of commercial bank financial management and assessment methods. There are two aspects of this paper:First, after the summarize of the literature on the value chain theory and the financial management theory, this paper analyze the necessity and feasibility of building value chain-oriented modern banking financial management system, and perfected the idea of building the financial management system for commercial banks. Second, combined with the years of work and management experience in Qingdao CCB, author comprehensively discusses the results and problems encountered of commercial banks in the process of building a modern financial management system.There are two innovations in this paper. First, comprehensive analysis of the financial management system of China’s commercial banks from the view of the value chain theory is a new areas, therefore this study is a useful attempting for the development of financial management system of China commercial banks. Second, using the author’s years of commercial banking experience as a case study will make this research more practical reference and guidance.
