Since the Eighteen Congress,an increasing number of people have paid moreattention in people’s livelihood.The implement of “New System of Rural PensionInsurance(NSRPI)” and the comprehensive coverage of rural social pensioninsurance,which not only means that our government have done a lot of work aboutpeople’s livelihood,but also represents that we have already reacted the challengeabout aging society.In order to achieve the ultimate goal concerning about building amoderately prosperous society,we must solve the rural old-age problemseffectively.However,the limitation of NSRPI,such as the unfit insurance programs,thenon-standard and inefficient operations during the implementation process,theinadequate level of protection and so on,which leads to the fact can not match withthe target.Nowdays,with the development of insurance companies,we know thatactuarial techniques increasingly sophisticated,the capability of indemnity andsolvency gradually improving,and insurance’s coverage expanding.Based on theseadvantages,insurance companies should participate in the construction ofNSRPI.Which will promote NSRPI development and improvement.At the sametime,it’s also a win-win situation.On the one hand,insurance companies will makebetter social image.On the other hand, insurance companies will find larger profitgrowth.Therefore, study on insurance companies participating in the construction ofNSRPI must have theoretical and practical significance.This paper is structured as follows.Firstly,it introduces the background andsignificance of the topic,and the research summaries of the scholars both at home andabroad.Secondly,it talks about the topic’s theoretical basis,necessity andfeasibility.What’s more,it analyses the path selection,which is the most important partin the paper.During the process,in order to make the theory visualize,concrete andpersuasive,it used the qualitative analysis and the quantitative analysis,and then introduced the econometric model and the Markowitz Portfolio Theory.Last but notleast,giving the policy recommendations about stimulating insurance companies’enthusiasm,preventing many kinds of risks,and resolving contradictions.
