Strategy Research On Reverse Logistics Of Cigarette Packaging In Guangzhou

With the progressive relax restriction of international tobacco companies access and theincreasingly severe situation of cigarette sales within domestic market, the relevantdepartments of the state increasingly recognize the importance of modern tobacco logisticsdistribution network and the construction of retailing terminal, and have clearly positionedthe tobacco logistics as the core business of tobacco industry which is irreplaceable, andcontinue to speed up the import application of modern logistics management philosophy andmode of operation, and emphasis on the reuse of cigarette packaging. As a typicalrepresentative of the tobacco industry, Guangdong Tobacco Industrial Co,Ltd. and GuangzhouTobacco Company are cigarette production and city sales by the leading enterprises, But hugeprofits from tobacco enterprises cover the always existed problems such as the separationbetween business and logistics, great waste of resources, as well as the high cost of logistics,of which the cigarette packaging whose one-time consumption cost is quite high. Seed fromthe current reverse logistics of cigarette packaging by the Hebei, Jiangsu, Zhejiang tobaccocompanies, the economic and operational efficiency has improved significantly. Therefore,the cigarette market in Guangzhou is needed to study the implementation of cigarettepackaging reverse logistics, make full use of the advantages of both industrial and commercialcigarette trading volume, short transport distance of logistics and coordination of theprovincial tobacco companies, achieve reuse of cigarette packaging in the logistics chain andimprove overall economic efficiency and core competitiveness, actively respond to thechallenges of the current new situation.Based on the above background, this paper firstly analyzes the basic concept of thereverse logistics, the related theory and some research results from domestic and foreigncountries. This paper focuses on the present status of research and application of tobaccoreverse logistics, it also points out the important significance of reverse logistics of cigarettepackaging to tobacco logistics development. Secondly, this paper makes a full description ofthe Guangzhou tobacco logistics operation system from five aspects, such as logistics oftobacco industry, the supply chain of tobacco logistics, the cigarette packaging, the reverselogistics and major problems in logistics operation. Thirdly, this paper makes an analysis about selection and allocation of cigarette packaging by qualitative analysis，quantitativeanalysis and comparative analysis, and selects the best mode of cigarette packaging andlogistics operation. By integrating the positive and reverse logistics,we can make awell-designed process of cigarette packaging reverse logistics, and realize the optimizationand integration of existing processes. This paper use the method of mathematical modeling toredesign the reverse logistics network, and build a comprehensive construction of reverselogistics system of cigarette packaging in Guangzhou that based on Supply Chain. Finally,From the business collaboration, information system construction, the application of RFIDtechnology and vendor management inventory etc., this paper proposes the feasibleimplementation strategies and guarantee mechanism of operation and management of thereverse logistics of cigarette packaging in Guangzhou, this paper also makes a comprehensiveanalysis from the aspects of cost, efficiency, effectiveness, quality and so on, it confirmed thefeasibility, practicality and economical efficiency of this system.
