Study On The Qingming Festival In The Tang And Song Dynasties And Its Tourism Development In The Future

The Qingming festival is one of the traditional festivals, which has many functions such as belief, ethics, recreation, art and economy, ect. Up to the physical and mental scale, the Qingming festival had left people invaluable cultural heritage, it’s folk culture accumulated more profoundly than other festivals. Today how to resume the attention about the Qingming festival, inherit Chinese traditional culture, have become an important research. In recent years, as a new legal holiday, the Qingming festival has become a new bright spot of domestic tour. However, the tourism development of the Qingming festival has not reached the satisfied level even it’s a traditional Chinese festival and national intangible cultural heritage day, expression in the lack of depth excavation and development of the culture. The focus of the tourism development is to highlight features, and to point out culture is the foundation of the characteristic, especially for the folk culture which is one of the most unique cultures. It’s the key of this article to research the culture of the Qingming festival and excavate the rich connotation.The dissertation focuses on the Qingming festival culture and sums up the present situation and problem of the Qingming festival tourism according to its content and value. Meanwhile, the suggestions are put forward by using the case of Niushou Mountain in Nanjing.Firstly, tracing back to the origin of evolution of the Qingming festival including Shangsi and Hansh festival, from zhou dynasty to Tang and Song Dynasties, this paper concludes that the sense of the Qingming festival today consists from the Shangsi and Hanshi festival, and a solar term in Tang and Song Dynasties, so it contains two different kinds of emotions.Secondly, based on what have been discussed above, this paper summarizes the deep connotation of the Qingming festival culture which has uniquely cultural characteristics from material to espiration, and the exploitation value contains the entertainment, literary art, education and cultural heritage which provides the basis of tourism exploitation of the Qingming festival tour development.Thirdly, based on the analysis of the status about the development of the Qingming festival tourism and the existing problems, it can be found that the Qingming festival tourism exists some problems such as tourism products are single and similar, tourism images are fuzzy, tourism planning is lacking of innovation and tourism resources are limited. Putting forward the solutions, such as designing diversified tourism projects, creating "no sites" tourism plat form, developing with other special tourism and setting up the image of the Qingming festival tourism. Taking Niushou Mountain in Nanjing as an example, this paper summaries the conditions of its exploitation and the pear resources, suggests some solutions, designs a festival life style and a Place to carry out the festival activities, develops various tourism products, and aims to be references for the exploitation of the Qingming festival tourism.
