Northern farming-pastoral zone is China’s traditional way of farming andanimal husbandry production meeting and transitional zone, main part islocated in the Inner Mongolia autonomous region. Farming-pastoral zone isinfluenced by both nature and human activity, which become the main sourceof dust weather in capital and in the east. At the same time, it is an ideal areato study the relations between human and geography, especially to discussthe ecological problems which is leaded by farming and animal husbandryproduction method. There are important theoretical significance and realisticsignificance in the in-depth research of the area. Based on the county (city,banner) as a unit as area research object, firstly, author used the multivariatestatistical classification that is commonly used in geographical dataprocessing method——principal component analysis, and system clusteranalysis,to carries on the type classifications to economic regional absolutelevels, economic regional relatively levels, industrial structure, First of all,the economy region in Inner Mongolia patterns in40counties (cities, banners,area) are divided into the absolute level type classification of seven differenttypes. Gained5kinds of different types by divide the types of economicregional relative levels, Got seven kinds of different types by classify theindustrial structure. Got four different types by classify the internal structureof farming and animal husbandry output value type of the first industry,anddiagnosing regional economic development comprehensive type primarily.For a greater understanding of the patterns in regional differences and adjustmeasures to local conditions development of county economy, and providesthe theory basis for build beautiful homes.
