Research On Work Mechanism Of Mineral Zoning Based On Geologic Survey

In2011, the General Office of the State Council issued No.57[2011],《Prospecting Breakthrough Strategy Action Plan (2011-2020)》 in Ministry of Land and Resources and other departments, which marks the current geological prospecting work entering into the national strategic level and the mineral zoning work。 With the continuous advance of geological work, the prospective geological work is becoming more important, mineral zoning work’prominent has become increasingly prominent. On the one hand, faced with the current grim situation of mineral resources supply, the exact resource conditions need to be found out and the mineral resources potentials should be controlled from the macroscopic view and national strategic level. On the other hand, the past mineral zoning work has been implemented in the form of "big project" and the timeliness of work can not be guaranteed for lack of a stable workforce.Therefore, based on analysis of the new situation, tasks and requirements the current mineral zoning work facing, this paper attempts to construct the new mechanism of mineral zoning work and contents and conclusions of the research are as follows:(1) Based on the comprehensive summary of previous mineral zoning work, looking for related concepts of mineral zoning and mineral potential assessment, and combined with the connotation of foreign mineral resources assessment, the deficiencies of past mineral zoning connotation have been discovered. According to the new situation on resource development, management and allocation of mineral resources exploration at home and abroad, the definition and connotation of mineral zoning have been expanded, so that the previous definition of the mineral zoning would be denied and the new connotation of mineral zoning will be approved.(2) This paper summarizes the current situation mineral zoning facing in domestic and foreign and puts forward the new requirements and tasks of mineral zoning based on the new situation. The new situation includes geological prospecting entering to the national strategic level, geological prospecting difficulty increasing and geological work service field expanding. The new tasks of mineral zoning work are metallogenic prospect zoning, optimizing the allocation of resources and marine and global mineral resources regionalization. The new requirements include establishing mineral zoning mechanism, research and application of new technology, theory and new methods of geological prospecting and work content focusing on continual minerals, both non-traditional mineral resources regionalization and marine and worldwide mineral zoning work.(3) In this paper, in accordance with the idea of "government leading, unified management, normal work, project-based, rolling development, periodic summary, prospecting outstanding and multiple service" and the macroscopical environment, the marketization of mineral resources exploration, globalization of mineral resource allocation, microscopically adjustment of mineral resources management and informationization of land and resources management, the new mechanism of mineral zoning work in the new situation has been constructed.
