In January7,2009, China Unicom WCDMA standard3G licence, September28th, Wuhai Unicom3G business official business, becoming the second launch of3G telecommunications business of mobile communication operators. The3G service is an epoch-making great business, it not only inherits the2G mobile voice services core value, while achieving a state of mobile real-time multimedia service, the implementation of a unified national price, domestic voice and video phone adopts’ long, city, diffuse three cost syncretic mode ", brings the user new communications services, to become the carriers of future business development of major profit growth point. In order to occupy more market share of3G, establish the leading edge, three big operators on3G market competition will be more and more intense. This paper uses PEST and SWOT two analysis methods, combined with the local large amount of actual data, Wuhai Unicom at present the macro environment, industry environment and the enterprise’s own strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and challenges are systematically analyzed, and combining the results of the analysis, to the Wuhai3G market main customer segmentation, in view of the different demand groups was put forward for the3G business marketing. This paper has strong timeliness, pertinence and actual significance, can in the next period of time to the Wuhai unicorn marketing work to provide better guidance.
