Since the nuclear power has been operated commercially, the nuclear power enterprise management is always guaranteeing the security and economy of the construction and operation. Meanwhile,"Safety first" is viewed as the primary management target. Scientific enterprise management plays an important role in nuclear power technologies’promotion, construction and operation. Nuclear power enterprise management involves in many phases, areas and levels, so it is quite complex. Throughout the nuclear power life-cycle which mainly consists of the preparation period, construction period and operation period, the management system and the management elements through to the end. So the nuclear power management should be considered, developed and implemented base on its whole life-cycle.So far China has had nearly50-reactor-years of nuclear plants’operation experience. Several nuclear power projects are under construction now. As the advanced3rd generation AP1000nuclear power technology PWR in the world currently, its first unit is under construction in China, Obviously, it will be the main reactor type to be batch-constructed in the future. In order to realize the nuclear power’s development and long-term planning, the nuclear power technologies’four-self-reliance, summarizing the construction and operation experience of the current nuclear power projects to deal with the AP1000technology’s batch construction and operations and to achieve securely, economically and efficiently, it is very necessary to research and analysis the whole life-cycle management of the AP1000nuclear power plant, Furthermore, we have to make a feasible and standard management system and solution to apply to the practical work.This paper spreads out based on the background and the research mentality above. It summarizes the whole life-cycle management model of the AP1000nuclear power plant after analyzing the nuclear power plant’s business in various stages. Furthermore, based on this model, it sets up the management model for project construction period and operation period according to the specific business and control target in each stage, and then gets the detailed management solution by further analyzing the main areas in the management model. In this way it can get the actual management solution for the whole AP1000’life-cycle. This model and solution has been innovated and improved by multiple AP1000nuclear power plants’practice application. It will become more practical, outstanding to constantly provide more effective management to the AP1000nuclear power plant’s construction and operation.
