Since the development of information technology, the intelligence residential which can provide people more comfortable service is gradually rising. It is bound with several modern Hi-Techs such as computer, communication, automatic control and IC card, and the security system is one of the most important parts among all residential control system.This passage introduced an intelligence residential intrusion system. The whole system has high reliability, rapid response and good expansibility since it uses CAN bus to build the system networking structure. The passage described the overall architecture and each module’s hardware and software design as well. It also analyzed some key points during software develop in details, such as CAN communication protocol design, porting uClinux to LPC series ARM platform, design of control panel based on ATMEL MCU and etc. The content of this passage can give other embedded system projects based on CAN bus some useful reference.At last, the passage evaluated the performance of this product and gave a brief preview in conclusion.
