With the development of the society, the situation which need to verify all kinds of identify information to ensure safety become more and more, however, the defects which difficult to overcome, limit the further development of traditional way of identity authentication. Under this background, the biometric identification has become more and more popular. Palm, as a biological characteristics of human body use frequency is highest, has high degree of user friendly, therefore, the palm detection and recognition become a research hotspot in the field of biometrics.The main contents of this paper is to study the movement palm detection, tracking and recognition method. First elaborated with the palm detection, tracking and identify, introduce the relevant theoretical knowledge and the main technology involved, etc.; Secondly, the paper expounds the palm detection and location methods, in view of the complex calculation of traditional joint type object attitude tracking, which is a technical difficulties, this paper puts forward the joint type palm detection algorithm abandon the subsequent attitude estimation stage, only have the initial estimate, and then using hand motion template matching coarse positioning area to obtain palm area, which greatly simplifies the complexity of the model and algorithm of calculation; Thirdly, in the phase ofpalm tracking, due to the classic Camshift moving object tracking algorithm has the advantages of smaller time complexity, better real-time performance, joint type palm detection localization algorithm is used to get the palm area, and then passed to the Camshift algorithm, which can solve the defects of the original algorithm semi-automatic, and also implements real-time tracking of the movement palm; Finally, some experiments carried out to verify the proposed various algorithm.
