With the development of computer and communication technology and the emergence of e-commerce, Internet has displayed a rapid growth in recent years. Faster andhigher quality services are needed to be provided to users. The increased network trafficis beyond the ability of the traditional single server. To avoid the phenomenon ofdowntime, this paper has raised a good solution of load balancing cluster to meet therequirements of the network bandwidth and server performance.Cluster technology is an efficient technology to improve server performance. Thispaper focuses on the study of the popular LVS load balancing techniques, analyzes itsthree IP load balancing methods and common scheduling algorithm. To overcome theshortcomings of the load balancing system, we add the interface of monitoring in theactual system application to monitor the status of specific applications. This schedulingalgorithm makes sure that not only the number of connections but also the state ofapplications in the load factor is considered, in this way, the phenomenon that the servercan’t handle the user data when connected can be reduced significantly. According tothe actual engineering demand, this paper builds a server load balancing system, adds amonitoring platform, tests and analyzes the load balance cluster system in terms of itsscalability, high performance and high availability. The result shows that the functionaland performance of the system meet the engineering requirements, and reach the goal ofupgrading the server.
