The cell dynamic analysis is of great significance and application value to cell biology and biomedicine. It is usually carried out through the cell tracking. However, the traditional cell tracking method not only need some boring human manual operations but also is the use of dyeing physicals and chemicals. The research results can not reflect the natural movement of the cells. So, it should need an objective and convenient method. This paper focus on this issue and the main contents are as follows:1. According to the characteristics of the cell images, the OTSU threshold and improved level set methods are respectively used to segment the H2AFV cell images and bladder T24phase contrast microscope images. Dealing with the isolated and noise points in the images, which are removed by the mathematical morphology method. This paper proposes a novel method based on the cell area change between the adjacent to determine the adherent cells, and then the method based on morphology is adopted to extract them. The extracted adherent cells are separated by the watered method. The experimental results show that the proposed method can effectively achieve segment the cell images.2. On the basis of the advantages and disadvantages of several of cell tracking algorithm, this paper proposes a novel tracking algorithm. This algorithm based on the cell region features such as cell displacement, area and deformation are used to track this cells which move a little distance. And then on the basis of these tracked cells, the cell local graph features composed of topological relations are combined with the cell region features are used to track the active cells. The various situations appeared during the process of cell tracking are handled. The two cell video sequences are used to verify the effective of this method, the experimental results show that the algorithm can help to improve the cell tracking accuracy.3. Combined with the cell research significance of dynamic analysis, we analysis the application value and calculation methods of cell dynamic parameters. According to the research content of this paper, the initial prototype of cell dynamic analysis system is designed and implemented. In the case of offline and online, the cytology researchers can calculate the cell dynamic parameters such as displacement, velocity, area of cells in the cell video.
