With the rapid development of mobile internet, the cloud computing technology becomes more and more popular to the industry. Many companies have get involved in the field of cloud computing, migrating their core services to the cloud computing platform or offer cloud services in the form of a lease directly. The most serious problem which hinders the development of the cloud computing is that no effective method to ensure the QOS of cloud computing platform, which make many cloud computing companies puzzled. Just because of it, this paper has made in-depth research of the problem.In order to study how to ensure the QOS of cloud computing platform, it gives a full study of cloud computing technology development home and board as well as the mainstream cloud computing platforms which include Google Distributed System and Hadoop Distributed System at first in the paper. And then it focused on the study of the Apsara which belongs to Aliyun Inc. in the paper. It hopes that we can find effective methods to ensure the QOS of cloud computing platform by the in-depth study of Apsara.As the complexity of cloud computing platform, the system simulation method is draw upon by us when exploring how to ensure the QOS of cloud computing platform. And then the system simulation method is used by us on ensuring the QOS of cloud computing platform. The advantage is that it can simulate various scenarios based on cloud computing platform for different applications in a controllable way at a low cost, so that the users can analysis the system in a more convenient way. The system simulation method proposed in the paper is divided into scale simulation, pressure simulation, error simulation and application simulation, realized from four different perspectives. In order to support the four methods better, it gives the research of some key technology used in Apsara Simulation System.Experiments show that the system simulation method proposed in the paper can simulate various types of complex application scenarios effectively from four aspects including scale, pressure, errors and application. It can help Apsara computing system find bugs which would break its service and prevent serious problems appearing on serving systems. So this method is proven as an effective way to ensure the QOS of Apsara computing platform. This method and Apsara Simulation System have been applied to the application of Aliyun Inc., and has achieved good results. In addition, this method is not only applicable to Apsara, but also can be used by other cloud computing system.
