With the development of network technology, cloud computing has become the focus of research in various fields. And Cloud computing can help individuals or businesses access to valuable information because of its powerful computing ability and flexible scalability. However, the core of the cloud computing is the datacenter, and its internal network structure and resource allocation service quality play a vital role. It's hard for researchers to do repetitive and scalable experiments in a real datacenter, to obtain datacenter load, energy consumption, resource scheduling and QoS, so the best way is simulation the test environments.In addition, the existing simulation software is not easy to use. Under the above background, this paper designed a system of online cloud computing simulation, WebCloudSim.To meet the above requirements, this paper designs an online cloud computing simulation system WebCloudSim. It's a simulation system with easy operation, full functions and strong extensibility. The system uses the B/S structure so that users configure the simulation scenarios and execute simulation through browsers, initially solved the complex operation among the other cloud computing simulation software. Besides,user could upload code for own algorithm to compare to the classic algorithm in this field. After all, the results of simulation are displayed in serval forms in order to promote the algorithms.The whole structure of the paper is divided into seven chapters. The first chapter elaborates the background of cloud computing and the development of simulation software. The second chapter, the technology which is necessary for WebCloudSim is analyzed deeply, and introduces the cloudsim. In the third chapter, it explains the demand of the system in detail via putting forward the overall use-case and function dividing diagrams. In the fourth chapter, it descripts the summary design. The fifth chapter, the system is designed in detail and implemented in hierarchical modus. In the sixth chapter, the functions of the system are tested and the results agree the expectation. The last chapter summarizes the paper and the future outlook.
