Recommender Systems Based Image Tag And Collaborative Filtering

With the rapid development of Internet, network information showing explosive growth, it’s difficult for users to extract the information they are interested in from a mass of information, so the personalized recommendations came out. With the growing demand for personalized recommendation, tag system gradually developed, it solves the difficulties of directly extract the contents of multimedia resources such as images, video and audio, and it makes the development of personalized recommendations go a step further.To help users quickly and efficiently find the images they are interested in, this paper studies the image recommendation system based on tags and collaborative filtering. At first, this paper proposes a tag recommendation method, it uses the tags’ frequency of tagging relative images as the relevance to do the image tag recommendation. The recommendation method based on tags this paper proposed is based on the tag recommendation, by calculating the sum of the recommend tags’ relevance in relative images to do the image recommendation. The recommendation method based on user collaborative filtering this paper proposed, calculates the user’s rating matrix and builds a user similarity model, then do the image recommendation by the similarity model.
