With the development of embedded system and wireless communication technology,wireless sensor network application technology has been applied widely in the fields of smarthome and intelligent greenhouse etc. Our country`s development of intelligent greenhouse islater than foreign country, and obtained some achievements. However, the integrity and stabilityof intelligent greenhouse fall behind the developed countries. Therefore, it is significant todesign an intelligent greenhouse control system to the development of our country`smodernization agricultural.In this paper, we have study the communication protocol of ZigBee and analyzed theenvironmental factors which influence on plant growth. Besides, we have researched the nodecontrol function of STC89C52RC. We analyzed the feasibility of intelligent greenhouse controlsystem, and designed and realized the system. We completed the collection, transmission andprocessing of the message of air temperature and humidity, soil humidity and light in this system.The test results show that the system runs well, satisfy the system goals. The main contents ofthe paper are as follows.First, according to the environmental characteristics of the greenhouse, we analyzed of thedata characteristics about the greenhouse and established a mathematical model. Meanwhile, wedetermined the network structure and hardware devices for the system.Second, we implemented the module design and environment configuration in hardwaredesign of the system. We coded and implemented the function of for each module in softwaredesign of the system.Third, we designed an UI(User Interface) based on JSP. The UI is easy to understand andoperate, and it can display the best value, the current environment parameter values, the controlcommand and the working state of the hardware device on real-time. People can know theconditions of greenhouse at any time.At last, we coded for ZigBee and STC89C52RC, and download to the chips for testing. Wedid the unit testing and integration testing following the basic principles of software testing. Theresult indicates that the system has stability and reliability well.
