With the advancement of science and technology, embedded devices has beenwidely used in the military, electronic communications, industrial control, medical andhealth fields.At the same time, the amount of data processed by embedded devices areincreasing, which will promote the development of embedded database. Embeddeddatabase system require strict time limits and space limits, In addition, require highreliability. How to ensure that the embedded database to meet the operating space anduptime while ensuring its high safety and reliability, has become another issue inembedded database research.In this thesis, we study the safety and reliability of CSDB embedded real-timedatabase, the research emphasized on the design and implementation of encryption andbackup features.The thesis firstly introduces the characteristics of embedded database system,details of the architecture of the CSDB embedded database system, documentcomposition and operating procedures. In addition, describes the common databasesecurity measures. As the specificity embedded environment and practical projectsdemands, we research encryption and backup features for CSDB embedded database.Embedded database environment requires high reliability, through the study of CSDBembedded database from backup to restore and achieve local and remote backup of thedatabase.Finally, a brief introduction give the test platform build for CSDB embeddeddatabase, the functional and performance of encryption and backup features aretested,verify the availability of the implemented features.
