TD-SCDMA network system is the first complete communication technology standards made by China, which have been adopted and officially released as one of the space interface technical standard of the third generation mobile communication by International Telecommunication Union (ITU), and get the full support of the CWTS and3GPP. It integrates CDMA, TDMA and other technical advantages in one. It has large system capacity, high utilization of the spectrum, strong anti-interference ability. It adopts the new technology of smart antenna, synchronous CDMA, joint detection, multi slot, variable spreading system, adaptive power adjustment etc.This paper studies the TD-SCDMA network’s deployment in the actual wireless environment, taking a city network operation as an example, discussed in detail in the technical advantage has been formed, how to use the optimization method to improve the operation of the whole network. Solutions to difficult problems and typical cases are given. For improving the user perceived utility, has certain directive significance to the development of the mobile communication network continued optimization.The first chapter of this paper introduced the basic principle of TD-SCDMA network, including the physical channel frame structure of TD-SCDMA network, the physical layer of spread spectrum and modulation and network of the TD-SCDMA network, and on this basis, introduces the key technology of TD-SCDMA network in the second chapter, and put forward the concept of network optimization.The third chapter introduced the main methods of TD-SCDMA network optimization and implementation of speech, with the more comprehensive cases of network optimization methods in a prefecture level city. As a typical research object, the prefecture level city has modest size of wireless network, putting into operation equipment than the whole, indoor distribution planning layout reasonable. So at first introduced drive test methods of road coverage problem process, and from the whole network view, introduced the network optimization of scrambling, adjacent areas and the optimization of network KPI which involves many factors. Detailed demonstration is given about elevator as typical example of indoor distribution. Several methods are effective for the problems of switch on and dropping and switching rate between different systems in the PS domain such as carrier hardware expansion, H carrier adjustment and DCCC algorithm opening. The methods to solve problems according to the total number of requests is not equal to the handover failure and success rate and physical channel allocation failure and switching failure caused by signaling combined with parameter optimization.The fifth chapter focused on Shandong Laiwu to improve TD-SCDMA network, using A frequency band10frequency point solutions.2/3G network optimization complementary design, and tested by comparing the merchant terminal.The sixth chapter is the exhibition after the centralized optimization of a period of time on the TD-SCDMA network, puts forward the next step optimization work, with TD-LTE deploying, prospect TD-SCDMA network optimization technology.
