With the rapid development of the economy of our country and the deepening ofopening to the outside world, people’s housing concept is changing, tending to be moreenvironmentally friendly and comfortable model of wooden houses. In addition, thedevelopment of ecological tourism is bound to promote the construction of wooden houses.Potential market of wooden houses in our country, as well as the promotion of woodenhouses brought about by the huge economic and social benefits, is bound to drive woodenhouses to localization and commercialization.Followed by the demand for related processing equipment and to meet the requirementsof fast and efficient manufacturing wooden houses, wooden houses processing center isbeginning to get more attention. Designing and developing a set of perfect accord withwooden houses processing center of CAM software system is indispensable. In this paper,the wooden houses processing center of CAM software is researched developmentally inorder to meet the development trend of them.This article describes the basic structure of wooden houses and walls, for example,timberwork building basic wooden parts are introduced combining with the characteristicsof wood processing and wood CNC system. The CAM software is based on Windowssystem design and development with the platform of SolidWorks, Visual Basic6.0programming language as development tools, adopting modular structure design. Thesisagainst its operation interface and functional modules design and explanation, emphaticallyintroducing the realization process and machining process simulation module codeconversion module design and implementation.It can significantly reduce the workload to programmers by apply CAM software systemin the timberwork building machining center. Primary success rates are high throughsimulation and cutting tool interference checking execution processing, which greatlyreduce the machine debugging time and program debugging time.Besides, they can notonly shorten the wooden parts production cycle, but ensure the wooden surface quality and machining accuracy, improving the work efficiency, in which way,obtaining goodeconomic benefit is possible. What’s more, it has important implications for the researchand development of flexible high-speed Numerical Control machining and has the goodeconomic efficiency.
