A wireless body area network is a kind of human-centered network, and as a wirelesslink communication network consists of multiple sensors arranged in different functionsembedded in the human body or the skin around the body composition. Wireless body areanetwork is not only an extension of the branch of wireless sensor networks, but also is apractical application mode of Things of Internet. Different types of sensor nodes can eithercollect the body’s perception of important physiological data,or collect according to the actualneeds of the environmental information around the body. And then they send the informationto a base station or mobile smart devices or stored directly on the computer or terminalservices. Depending on the application requirements, the terminal device of the service willanalysis and process related information. Wireless body area network is a multi-disciplinarytechnology fusion, including wireless communication technologies, distributed computingtechnology, embedded computing technology, data fusion filtering technology, heterogeneousnetwork convergence technology and network topology and so forth. Currently, wireless bodyarea network has a wide range of applications in health care, emergency care, smart home,defense and military, entertainment, location tracking, and other fields. In December2011, awireless body area network standard IEEE802.15.6advent. This standard specifies thetechnical requirements of wireless body area network physical layer, data link layer and thenetwork layer. For the first time highlighted the significance of the issue of network securityand technical requirements in wireless body area network, making the study of wireless bodyarea network gradually toward standardization and regulation.Due to the ability of human motion gesture movement variability, the limited nature ofsensor nodes, wireless sensor networks of various security technologies can not be porteddirectly to a wireless body area network application. Since most wireless body area networkdata collected is personal information about the user, the actual application deploymentprocess will face a serious risk of sensitive private data leakage or malicious tampering. First,according to the network characteristics of the major issues and challenges in wireless bodyarea network security privacy protection faced, as well as wireless body area network fromdata privacy protection and environmental information privacy are two angles to the existingresearch conducted classification, and introduces the attack model and security objectives,description of each type of key implementation techniques, and summarize, analyze and compare the main advantages and disadvantages of each technology between, meanwhileaccording to the application requirements for each category,this paper will propose possiblefuture development trends and research directions. Secondly, according to the need of securityfeatures of a wireless body area network, the privacy protection technology and securitytechnology will combined with each other. As well as wireless body area network based onthe confidentiality, availability, reliability, non-repudiation, integrity security purposes,meanwhile according to the security level set by international standard IEEE802.15.6standard,we propose a secret sharing and secret reconstruction and symmetric encryption algorithmcombination security policy solution. Through the analysis process, the integrity of the testingand whether a clear message to meet network security, and to resist the attacks of thetransmission process to illustrate the feasibility of the strategy and security. Again, using oftemperature sensors, vibration sensors, pulse sensor and Arduino board can be made to realizethat the body area network security privacy solution. Finally, the prospects for thedevelopment of wireless body area network, privacy and security issues are important inwireless body area networks. This paper has some theoretical significance and application ofthe reference value.
