College Student Performance Management System Design And Implementation Based On Net

In the21stcentuery, along with the wide use of information technology andnetwork technology, it has become an indispensible role in people’s work, study andcommunication. Nowadays, the continous expand in clloge’s enrollment has madethe number of students increase sharply. The management in paper way has nolonger been used in certain tedious work such as the superviese of college students,the management and statistics of scores,the query and analysis, whlie the officeautomatization has gradually been on the agenda. Also, the traditional managementof students in different departments connot meed the need ofe development ofcolleges any longer. Aiming at this situation, many colleges are in in urgent need toestablish a complete, stable and mature system of score management to settle thedilemma in student management and to increase the working efficiency of collegeteachers. It not only conforms to the contemporary trend of development, but alsomeets the need for colleges striving to informatization and digitization.Based on the NET technology, this system is to develop the college studentscore managemnet. There are seven main functions of the system including supermanagement, department permission management, student information management,curriculum management, student information inquiry, score inquiry and statisticanalysis. From the perspectives of security and stability, this system is of highresearch value and practical value. NET has its own favourable prospective, whichmakes the later extend and the changes of modules convenient. It not only conformsto the current situation of colleges, but also meets the need to save the expenses.This system combines the ASP. NET with SQL SERVER data base, developing in the B/S framework. It can run in every platform under the Windows system,supporting IE6, IE7, IE8and any other Web platforms. It design its system programusing the Microsoft Visudio. net; designs its interface using Dream Weaver; makesgraphic processing to beautify its interface by Photoshop8.0. As to the security ofthe system, it had been carefully checked in the design process. Aiming at the IISsecurity management, the security of the platforms is set up. In the meanwhile, theSQL SERVER data storage is also encrypted, using ADO.NET technology to visitSQL SERVER data base so as to inprove its operating speed and security. Thesystem has been rationalized during the exploiting process, which makes theprivilege level more obvious, different levels more definite, and different privilegeshave gradually taken shape. Students in college have the permission to inquire scores,browse personal information, and modify basic information. Different departmenntshave all the permission to inquire all the students’ information in different grades aswell as their scores. They can also do some adding, modifying, deleting and statisticsto boot in this system.The system is based on the college’s perspective and help to realize the tightconnection between colleges and between students ang the college, administrators indifferent levels, students, and parents can connect with each other without theinfluence of the time and space. What they need to do is just to link to the Internet,input the account number and password and they can immediately log in to inqiurethe information and study situantion of the student. It greatly improve the efficiencyof teaching management and daily working, meanwhile it also provide conveniencefor the teachers and students using this system. Based on this situation, this systemhas settle the disadvantages brought by traditional management of students’ scoresand realized the scientific management in collegs. The present author thinks itworthwhile to make some resaech on this system for its reseach value and practicalvalue.
