Research On Intelligent Parking Guidance System

Intelligent parking guidance system can provide vehicle owners parking location, safety and idle-position information in real-time and convenient way. Under the assistance of this system, the vehicle owners can save a lot of valuable time in finding idle-position, and avoid the lower efficiency phenomenon of parking lot. This system can improve the situation of’a car difficult to stop’, to a certain extent, at the same time, enhance the utilization rate of the parking lot, strengthen the management, and increase economic benefits of the parking lot, etc.This paper elaborates the hardware design simply and studies the software implementation as an emphasis. In the aspect of hardware detection equipments, ultrasonic detector and magnetic detector are put above and below the parking position, respectively, which can detect whether parking space is idle. There is a node controller in each parking lot, and the nodes can communicate with central controller. Space occupation condition can be shown to the user at the entrance of parking lot through the visual display screen. In the parking lot there are parking space guidance display, which can help users to find the idle spaces quickly and easily. Parking guidance management information system can run in Windows2000, Windows XP and Windows7, and data storage and analysis use database Microsoft SQL Server2000as the entire store information platform for research and development and design of software system of the central management system software platform, the parking lot of intelligent parking guidance system information collection and processing system. This platform can distribute the all information in the parking lot, and manage the vehicle record in and out of the parking lot and the statistical management and vehicle parking traffic management system, the above is intelligent parking guidance system software design scheme.Intelligent parking guidance system will transmit real-time acquisition information of the parking space detection from ultrasonic detector and magnetic detector through the transmission equipment. At last the data can be processed through the computer software, then the system delivers real-time parking guidance information to each led indicator and display device, which make the whole parking guidance system achieve fast, convenient and safe parking. At the same time, the parking lot can operate with flexible, more intelligent, highly efficient management.
