Windows system,as the life of the system,we are most familiar with the most common applications, it has a rich interactive,interfaceand developed unmatched advantages in other operating systems, high-efficiency system development in windows system, making the most of the software is based on windows system design, but because windows system is non-real-time system, so that obstacles, encountered when the development of real-time software that are required, and because of Windows system hardware package, it makes writing becoming more difficult under Windows hardware drivers, and radar systems are widely used the study of computer boards they have developed by themselves. Due to developing drivers for these cards need much work, these require us to use the appropriate technology to solve problems.Now the concept of digital radar has been proposed and has begun to be implemented. First, the original control software from the fewer human-computer interaction required changes to a lot of human-computer interaction required for real-time monitoring, control radars operating status, operating parameters; Second, the software of the information processing category control radars operating status, operating parameters, according to the current situation requires real-time target information, so that part of the information processing function module software for real-time requirements of the low (ms level), into a real-time requirements high (us grade) in a radar system software research and development, we have successfully applied the Windows subsystem real-time extension (RTX) to solve the Windows operating system real-time shortage. As a result of RTX extensions can make Windows system messages and interrupt response time from20us up to5us, while deterministic response time (response time is one of the most important indicators for a deterministic real-time operating system,) by80us to around5us, i.e. to an interrupt message, Windows may need20-100us in the system to have a response, the use of RTX in most cases will respond within a5-10us. Using RTX technology to develop radar system solves the problem of lack of real-time in Windows system and hardware access difficult, and make full use of advantages in Windows system development.
