It is necessary for human beings to communicate with each other. As social animals,human beings need verbal and nonverbal communication. As time goes by, the mode ofcommunication has changed a lot. As the primary productive forces, science and technologyplay very important roles in the era of economy and knowledge. They have penetrated into thefields of politics, economy, and culture, and lent their tremendous strengths. With thedevelopment of Internet technology and the popularity of the network sociality, peoplechanged their communication style from the traditional ones to various ones which are basedon the network. As a new technology product, we-media connects the user terminal to theInternet, which becomes an important communication way of social interaction.In recent years, as a representative of we-media, twitter, has become an indispensablecommunication platform for people in their public life. Such kind of we-media, which takesthe individual as the unit, is exerting more and more influence and impact on Chinese society.It not only has impact on the traditional paper or electronic media, but also continuouslyoccupies the market of other application forms of new media. Its function is unprecedentedlyhighlighted. As an important type of social media, twitter has become the mainstream networkmedia at a rapid pace, and become an important force to promote the event, public issues andsocial movement. Though there exist some problems, with technological improvement andrenewal, twitter will fully play its positive role in various fields in the near future. The growthof teenagers desperately needs the positive energy of twitter. However, the popularity of itnaturally brings about some problems, which have negative impact on society. At present,twitter has just started, it is short of management experience, and it has no complete laws andregulations. Its development is faced with many difficulties and challenges. This paper isbased on Habermas’s theory of communicative action, elaborates how to regulate the healthydevelopment of we-media platform and sets forth the author’s prospect.
