The radar system always adopts the over-the-counter test method, and a lot of shortcomings companying with its design, such as high test cost and difficulty to gain real electromagnetic signal environment. Nowdays radio frequency simulation test is popularly introduced during the design of modern radar system. Experimental test of seeker is beneficial to find out and resolve the real problem, therefore it reduces the times of over-the-counter test, decreases experimental expenditure and has dependable security.In this thesis it puts much attention on the base theory of Radar Antenna Array, applies Microsoft VC++to finish the software of the control system in the windows platform, based on the ISE of Xilinx FPGA completes all the desigh of hardware in the control system, and then simulates and debugs this hardware system. The achievement of this research were applied in a large microwave/millimeter wave mixing dark room.The feathures of this work is just as bellow:With the combination of hardware and software in the upper and lower machine it achieves all the control system through command frame and implements the precision and rough position control of array antenna. The update time is only lms from the commands sent out in upper machine to the control executed by hardware circuit.
